How The Flavor Lab Works
1. Join the Lab
Subscribe to The Flavor Lab by Good Measure to receive exclusive experimental cookies created in our kitchen each month. These flavors are developed specifically for Flavor Lab members and are not available on the regular menu.
2. We Create the Experiment
Each month, our kitchen develops new cookie concepts—exploring bold flavor pairings, unique textures, and creative ideas that push beyond our standard lineup.
3. Taste the Test Batch
Your Flavor Lab box delivers the experimental cookie releases baked fresh to your door. As a subscriber, you’ll experience these creations before anyone else.
4. Cast Your Vote
Each release includes a QR code where you can vote for your favorite experiment.
5. Shape the Menu
The cookie receiving the most votes may earn a permanent place on the Good Measure rotating menu as the Next Measure.
6. Chance to Win a Gift Card
Subscribers who vote for the winning cookie are automatically entered into a drawing for a $25 Good Measure gift card (that’s five free cookies! - 6 free cookies with code B5GO).

Subscription Pricing
Experimental Cookie Subscription
$40 per month
A monthly release of experimental cookies created exclusively for Flavor Lab members.
Each box includes six test kitchen cookies (two of each flavor) developed to explore bold flavors, unexpected pairings, and new ideas coming out of the Good Measure kitchen.
Flavor Lab members also get the opportunity to vote for their favorite experiment, helping decide which cookie may become the Next Measure on the official menu.
Subscribers who vote for the winning cookie are automatically entered into a drawing for a $25 Good Measure gift card.

Important Details
Release Schedule
The Flavor Lab by Good Measure is released once each month.
Boxes ship on or after the monthly Flavor Lab release date, typically scheduled on or around the third week (20th day) of each month.
This timing allows our kitchen to develop, test, and prepare each experimental cookie release in small batches before distribution.
Exact release dates may vary slightly depending on production schedules, holidays, etc. and will be communicated to subscribers in advance.
Billing Information
For your convenience, The Flavor Lab is billed automatically on the 15th day of each month.
Billing on the first allows our kitchen time to finalize experimental recipes, prepare ingredients, and produce each limited Flavor Lab release before it ships later that month.
You will receive a billing reminder prior to each charge, and you may manage or cancel your subscription anytime before the next billing date after the subscription commitment period has been met through your account portal.
Limited Availability
Each Flavor Lab release is produced in small batches to maintain creativity, experimentation, and the high quality expected from Good Measure cookies.
Because of this limited production, subscriptions may temporarily close once monthly capacity has been reached and may reopen as space becomes available.
Flavor Surprise Notice
The Flavor Lab features experimental cookie flavors currently being developed in the Good Measure kitchen.
These recipes are part of our testing process and may evolve before becoming permanent menu items.
Subscribers get to experience these creations before anyone else. We do not offer refunds due to allergens or taste preferences.
No Customization
Because The Flavor Lab features experimental and limited Test Kitchen creations, boxes are curated by the Good Measure kitchen and cannot be customized or modified.
Flavors are selected as part of our development process, so substitutions are not available. Customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions should consider ordering individual menu items after reviewing the product's ingredients and allergen statement.

Voting Details
Each Flavor Lab release includes a QR code where subscribers can vote for their favorite experimental cookie.
Voting typically remains open until the 5th of the following month.
The cookie receiving the most votes may earn a permanent place on the Good Measure menu as the Next Measure!
Gift Card Drawing Rules
Subscribers who cast a vote for the winning cookie will be automatically entered into a drawing for a $25 Good Measure gift card (that’s five free cookies! or 6 cookies with code B5GO).
One winner will be selected after the voting period closes and will be notified via email and/or on social media platforms (purchasing this subscription gives consent for use in marketing).
No Refund Policy
Due to the limited and experimental nature of The Flavor Lab, all subscription charges and box purchases are final and non-refundable once billing has occurred.
Each release is planned and produced specifically for subscribers, meaning ingredients and production are prepared based on confirmed orders.
If you do not wish to receive the next release, you may cancel your subscription anytime before the next billing date after the minimum subscription commitment has been met through your account portal.
Minimum Subscription Commitment
To participate in The Flavor Lab, subscribers agree to a minimum commitment of two releases — the initial payment plus one recurring monthly payment.
Because each release is produced in limited batches specifically for subscribers, cancellations may be made after the second billing cycle and must be completed before the next scheduled billing date.
This helps ensure we can properly plan ingredients, production, and limited quantities for each experimental release.
Cottage Food Notice
These products are made in a home kitchen not inspected by the Maryland Department of Health and may contain all allergens including wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.
